Grace was visiting family — from Alaska! — when she scheduled her quick senior portrait session with me. They didn’t have a lot of time and that was ok. We made a short session look just as beautiful as though we took hours of planning and prep.

Senior year is packed. Between school, sports, jobs, and college prep, time is limited, I totally get it!
A shorter session = less pressure and fewer decisions.
We focus on what matters: real expressions, great light, and a confident senior.
One outfit is enough
Worried about not having time for a full wardrobe change? You don’t need it.
Choosing one solid, well-fitting outfit lets them be the focus, not the clothes.
Neutrals and dark colors (like the warm-tone brown look in this session!) photograph beautifully and won’t date.
A simple studio setup goes a long way
This session took place in my studio — clean, classic, and completely focused on the senior.
A studio setting eliminates distractions and gives us total control over lighting and style. The biggest decision was choosing a backdrop that complemented Grace’s outfit. But once that was done - it was DONE.
With no location changes, we get more time to play with poses, expressions, and personality.
The results? Simply amazing.
