Through the years, I have realized my real passion lies in photographing individuals and making them feel comfortable while doing so. It can be stressful being in front of the camera. I totally get it! I want to ease that pressure and not only have fun with it, but get you some amazing results, too!

I have now been in business over 13 (lucky!) years and not a day goes by that I don’t marvel at how much I enjoy telling your story through photography while making you immensely at ease with the process.

Hi there!

Thanks for stopping by. I’m Abbie Miller, your friend the photographer, and I want to tell your story. But first, here's mine.

In 2012, I started my photography business because of time. I was whining (I'll admit it) that time was moving too fast. The kids were growing up and I simply wanted to capture their little-ness in a bottle and keep it forever. Well, I was never quite capable of bottling their youth, but I could definitely photograph them! That's how Stories Framed Photography started... and why I always say "Quick, before they grow up”. Because it's true, and they do.

As for a little more of my story…

I grew up in Skokie, IL and relocated between Iowa City, Bloomington, Des Moines, Lincoln and Omaha - and finally ended up in Wauwatosa. My family and I love Wisconsin and truly consider it home!

I love to travel, read books, watch TV and go to the movies (oh, the popcorn!). I’ve got a crazy addiction to my Peloton bike and I love an iced caramel macchiato from Starbucks. In our spare time, my husband and I are on a mission to eat and drink our way around the Milwaukee area, so if you’ve got a favorite place, lay it on me!
